These terms apply to furscopes.com (the "Site") and to the digital products sold through it. By using the Site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. Who we are
Furscopes is an independent project that makes astrology-inspired keepsakes for pets. You can reach us any time at support@furscopes.com.
2. What Furscopes is — and is not
Furscopes is entertainment. We use the charm of astrology as a lens to describe your pet's personality in a warm, playful way. Nothing on this Site is a prediction of the future, and nothing on it is professional advice.
In particular, Furscopes is not veterinary, medical, nutritional, or behavioral advice. If you have any concern about your pet's health or behaviour, please consult a licensed veterinarian or a qualified behaviourist. Never delay or disregard professional advice because of something you read here.
3. The free quiz and the paid reading
The personality quiz and the free Cosmic Profile that follows it are free. The Profile includes your pet's cosmic type, both star signs, your match score, and a short reading of who they are.
The full Cosmic Profile & Reading is an optional one-time purchase of USD 9.99. It is written in four parts — their nature, their days, the year ahead, and the bond between you — and closes with an appendix of the astronomy we actually calculate: the planet positions on their birth date, and the eclipses and retrogrades in the year ahead. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
Delivery is immediate and digital: the full reading appears on screen as soon as your payment is confirmed, and you can save or print it as a PDF. You also get a private link that keeps your reading for a year, so closing the tab does not lose it — we hold that copy for you and delete it after a year (see the Privacy Policy). No account is required — nothing to sign up for, nothing to log into.
Each reading is generated individually for the details you enter. Because it is generated fresh each time, wording will differ between readings even for the same pet.
4. Payment and who you are buying from
Our order process is conducted by a third-party payment provider, which is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and is named on your receipt. The payment provider handles customer service enquiries relating to the order and returns, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable sales tax and VAT.
Prices are shown in US dollars. The payment provider may present a local currency and will add any tax required by your location at checkout. Your payment card details are handled by the payment provider and its payment partners — we never see or store them.
5. Your licence to the reading
The reading we generate for you is yours to keep, print, frame, and give as a gift. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not resell it, redistribute it at scale, or present it as your own product or service. The Site's own text, illustrations, design, and the quiz itself remain our intellectual property.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to bypass the paywall, or to access paid content you haven't paid for.
- Don't scrape, bulk-request, or automate the quiz or the reading endpoint. We rate-limit requests and may block abusive traffic.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Site or its API.
- Please don't enter other people's personal information into the quiz.
7. Availability
We try to keep the Site up and the readings working, but we don't promise uninterrupted availability. Readings are generated with the help of a third-party language model; if that service is unavailable, generation may fail temporarily. If a reading you paid for fails to generate, see our Refund Policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Site and its content are provided "as is", for entertainment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Site or any purchase is limited to the amount you actually paid for the product in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when. Material changes will apply from the date they are posted; continuing to use the Site after that means you accept them.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.
