Why we only ask for month and day Input honesty
A sun sign is set by where the sun sits on the zodiac calendar — month and day decide it, so that's all we ask. Other calculators demand a full birth date, a name, even an email; none of that changes the answer. The one honest wrinkle: sign boundaries shift by about a day from year to year, which is why a birthday on the edge gets both candidates here instead of a silent coin-flip. (Deeper placements are different: the moon sign needs the full date, and the rising sign needs a birth time.)
